Pueblo Bonito Pacifica: Luxury in Cabo

We visited the Pueblo Bonita Pacifica in Cabo San Lucas in October of 2016 to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. From the suite to the meals to the lounge chair & the exceptional service from the staff this was a vacation that will be hard to beat.

The Pueblo Bonita Pacifica is an all inclusive adult only hotel located about 15 min outside of town. The property is secluded and unlike any other spot in Cabo.

Whether we were walking along the beach or wandering around the beautiful walkways throughout the hotel we knew we made the right choice on selecting this resort.

We were either in the pool or in the cabanas on the beach. We stayed in The Towers, which is the brand new section of the hotel. There are hardwood floors throughout the room so it feels extra clean and luxurious. The bed was covered in about 20 different types of pillows to choose from. We had our own private pool on our balcony & a Nespresso machine. That was neat!

Not only were we impressed with the food, all the dishes & drinks looked so pretty! The first night we had clams that were cooked over a fire while we learned about this traditional baja style of cooking.

The following day we hung out on the beach while the chef caught a bonita fish and made it into ceviche & sashimi right in front of us! This was so good I had to order ceviche again for breakfast the next day. Ceviche for breakfast, why not!

At one of the hotel bars, Refresca, you have to ask for the Pacifica & the Fuego cocktail! A mix of mescal and tropical fruits. The next night we got another baja specialty cuisine, steak cooked on a stone with mescal. We got such an impressive show as the chef prepared the meal in front of us.

As if we weren’t stuffed to the max, we woke up to a Sunday morning brunch which included a mile long of desserts, mimosa & bloody mary bar. Sometimes we when travel its tough to find an “almond” milk latte. Got it here!

On the day of our anniversary we took a rest from the sun and got a couples spa treatment. Beautiful facilities, great vibe!

That night we had a very special evening. We were driven through the golf course to a monumental lighthouse for wine & apps at sunset. The views from the golf course are breathtaking and the sunset from the lighthouse was magical. We’ve been to Cabo a handful of times and we’ve never ever seen a sunset like this. After sunset we had dinner at the clubhouse, Quivera. Once again, so impressed with the food!

Some words to sum our stay at the Pueblo Bonita Pacifica are relaxing, luxurious & special with a side of a traditional baja experience!
